• OUR STORY
• Eddie Bauer was a Seattle native who grew up hunting and fishing in the forests and mountains of the PacificNorthwest. His overriding passion was outdoor adventure. He was inspired by nature, and welcomed anyone andeveryone who was interested in the outdoors. Bauer’s Sports Shop (which he opened in 1920) was not just a placewhere people purchased clothing and gear, it was a community hub where folks gathered to share their wisdom,learn, and talk about their experiences in the outdoors. Following in his footsteps, we are working to make theoutdoors a more inclusive community. We believe that nature has the power to regenerate, to inspire, to heal, and
